SEARCH TIPS

BUSINESS NAME
- "Exact Phrase" will search for businesses that have the exact words you enter in the exact order.
  - Boone Multimedia will return "Ronnie Boone Multimedia Services" since the two words are in the name of the business in that order. They do not necessarily have to be at the beginning of the business name.
  - Boone Services will not, since the words aren't together in the name of the business.
- "All Words" will search for businesses that contain all the words you enter, no matter what order.
  - Boone Services will return "Ronnie Boone Multimedia Services" since both words are in the name of the business.
  - Boone Webdesign will not since the words "Webdesign" is not in the name of the business.
- "Any Word" will search for businesses that contain any of the words you enter.
  - Boone Webdesign will return "Ronnie Boone Multimedia Services" since one of the words is in the name of the business.
- Note: Using "Any Word" will return more results than "All Words". "Exact Phrase" will return the fewest results, but will give you a more accurate search.
CATEGORY
- Searching for a main category will return all businesses under that category and all subcategories within. For instance, searching the "Automotive" category will return all businesses in the "Auto Body Repair", "Auto Dealers" and "Auto Glass" categories, as well as the rest of the subcategories under "Automotive".
LOCATION
- Searching for a state will return all locations within that state. In other words, selecting "Florida" in your search will return all business with the state from Miami to Tampa to Jacksonville to Panama City and all points between.
TOO MANY RESULTS
- Try narrowing your search. Include business name, category and location if possible instead of just one of the three.
NOT ENOUGH RESULTS
- Try expanding your search. Enter one or two words in the business field and select "Any Word" instead of "Exact Phrase". Select main categories instead of subcategories, or statewide searches instead of local searches.
