Welcome to Anhingo!

Anhingo is a new kind of business networking website, sort of a combination between a business directory and a social networking site.  As more and more businesses register, it will be used not only to find businesses as you would on any other business directory websites, but you can track businesses and or news/media outlets that interest you and receive updates from them as you would on social networking websites.

When you register as a business, your company is listed by category and/or location.  Visitors to Anhingo will be able to search and find your business.  You do not need to register to search the directory.  However, if you register as a business or as an individual, you will be able to build a list of businesses you wish to track and automatically receive updates from them.  Individual users will not have their names listed in the search feature and cannot be tracked.  Only businesses can be tracked.

Ideas are always welcome.  The site is new, so hopefully you will be patient with us as our list of registered businesses grow.  Let us know what you think, what you like, what you don't like, what you'd like to see.  Track "Anhingo", and you will always be up-to-date on the latest changes to the site.
